Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
